About this tool
Long PDFs often contain only a few pages you actually need to share: the signed page of a contract, one month of a bank statement, or a single chapter of a book. Splitting lets you send just those pages instead of the whole document.
Type page numbers separated by commas and use a dash for ranges. 2-4, 9 creates a new PDF containing pages 2, 3, 4 and 9 in that order. If you choose to split every page, each page becomes its own PDF and they are bundled in a ZIP for easy downloading.
The original file is never changed, and it is never uploaded. All processing happens in your browser.
Questions and answers
How do I write the page ranges?
Use commas between items and a dash for ranges, for example 1-3, 5, 8-10. Spaces are optional. Page numbers start at 1.
Can I change the order of pages?
Yes. Pages are added in the order you type them, so 5, 1-4 puts page 5 first.
How do I open the ZIP file?
Windows, macOS, Android and iOS can all open ZIP files natively. Double-click (or tap) it to see the individual PDFs.
