How to use Currency Converter
- Type an amount and choose the currencies to convert from and to.
- Read the result and the exchange rate in both directions.
- Add currencies to the table to compare the amount in all of them, or tick Use my own rate to use the rate your bank or exchange gave you.
About this tool
Rates come from ExchangeRate-API and are refreshed once a day. Only the public rate table is downloaded. The amounts you type stay on your device and are never sent anywhere.
The last rates you downloaded are saved in your browser, so the converter still works when you are offline. The time of the rates is shown under the converter.
These are mid-market rates, halfway between the buy and sell prices that banks trade at. Banks, card providers and money changers add a margin, so the rate you are offered will be a little worse. If you know the rate you will actually get, tick Use my own rate and type it in.
